Ekpoma Life

Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ekpoma Life ("we", "us"), an online life simulation game set in Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria, run by Isaac Akhabue. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Ekpoma Life.

1. Who can play

Ekpoma Life is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to create an account. One account per person. Give your real age; accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 will be closed.

2. Your account

Keep your password private — you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it. You may not sell, rent or give away your account.

3. How to behave

You can block and report players in the game. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Game naira and purchases

"Game naira" is the money inside Ekpoma Life. It is not real money: it has no value outside the game, cannot be cashed out, withdrawn or exchanged for real money, and is a limited licence for you to use in the game only. You can buy game naira packs with real money through our payment partners (Flutterwave or Paystack); prices are shown in Nigerian naira before you pay, and your game naira is added to your in-game bank as soon as the payment is confirmed. Purchases are final once delivered — see our Refund Policy. We may correct balances that came from errors, bugs or fraud.

5. Voice and chat

Proximity voice chat lets players near you hear you. We do not record voice. Text chats are stored so you can read your conversations and so we can deal with reports.

6. The game can change

Ekpoma Life is in early access. We may add, change or remove features, prices and items, and the game may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance. Places in the game are inspired by the real Ekpoma; businesses in the game are fictional unless stated otherwise.

7. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or puts other players at risk. You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account (see Contact).

8. Liability

The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.

9. The law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll show the new date at the top. Questions? See Contact.
